() Aavegotchi Studio Launches Exclusive Ethereum Layer-3 Gaming Chain with Alchemy Tech
Pixelcraft Studios, the developer behind the popular crypto game Aavegotchi, announced plans to launch a 'members only' Ethereum layer-3 gaming blockchain called Geist. This new blockchain will utilize multiple Ethereum scaling technologies, including Arbitrum’s Orbit tech and Coinbase’s Base network for settlement, with contributions from the blockchain development platform Alchemy. Geist aims to address issues such as high player turnover and botting in the crypto gaming space. Access to the network will require ownership of an Aavegotchi NFT and payment of membership dues, though a seven-day free trial will be available for new invites, and existing Aavegotchi NFT owners will receive free membership. The platform will offer exclusive rewards, seamless game integration, an NFT marketplace called Aavegotchi Baazaar, and features like a native on-chain random number generator and gasless transaction support.
