CoreWeave has announced a significant partnership with Nokia to enhance its AI networking infrastructure. This collaboration will involve the deployment of Nokia's IP routing and optical transport portfolios as part of a large-scale wide area network buildout. The initiative aims to support high-performance AI infrastructure across CoreWeave's datacentres in the US and Europe. CoreWeave will utilize Nokia's 7750 Service Router and 1830 Photonic Service Interconnect, along with Nokia's Network Services Platform to automate network functions and optimize resource allocation. This new infrastructure is expected to provide super-fast, reliable performance at scale and increase traffic capacity by over 30% within the same energy envelope. Leaders from both companies have expressed optimism about the partnership, emphasizing the importance of Nokia's hardware in meeting the demands of AI and ML hyper scale clouds and the reliability and efficiency of Nokia's solutions in supporting CoreWeave's expanding global network of datacentres.
