Neo4j has unveiled a major update to its Aura cloud database management system portfolio, aimed at easing enterprise adoption and acceleration of graph technology for diverse workloads. Announced on September 6, 2024, ahead of the GraphSummit enterprise conference in New York, the update introduces a new Aura console with a GenAI co-pilot, an interactive dashboard builder called NeoDash, and a self-serve offering named Neo4j AuraDB Business Critical, which is priced 20% lower. The update also boasts a 15x improvement in real-time read capacity and enhanced enterprise control, audit, and compliance features. Additionally, Neo4j has achieved SOC 2 Type 2 and HIPAA compliance, reinforcing its reliability for enterprise use.
