PsiQuantum has entered into a significant partnership with the State of Illinois, Cook County, and the City of Chicago, securing $500 million in tax incentives over the next 30 years. The company plans to construct a million-qubit photonic quantum computer at the Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park. Additionally, PsiQuantum will utilize a shared cryoplant operated by the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which has received $200 million in state funding. The company has also established collaborative research relationships with the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, the University of Chicago, the University of Illinois Chicago, and Northwestern University.
