SambaNova Systems Inc. has announced a significant advancement in AI performance with its Reconfigurable Dataflow Architecture. The new technology achieves a 10X performance improvement while using only one-tenth of the power compared to existing solutions. Specifically, it enables running large models like the Llama 400B at 115 tokens per second, which is 10 times faster than competitors, and at less than 19 kilowatts of power.
